Slumgullion Campground

At the top of Slumgullion Pass, the Slumgullion Campground allows easy access to both the Silver Thread Scenic Byway and the amenities along Cebolla Creek. It is conveniently located near the Powderhorn and La Garita Wilderness Areas.
This forested and open campground is located about 9 miles from downtown Lake City, Colorado. Elevation is 11,200 feet. View in a larger map Directions
From Lake City, head south on Highway 149 for 9 miles, almost to the top of Slumgullion Pass. Turn left onto FS Road 788/County Road 50. Slumgullion Campground is a short distance after the turn, on both sides of the road.
